Looking back: What was the point of all the Roadsta madness in nyc??

I mean, bape has already whored out the roadstas..polka dot, camo, city camo, snakeskin...if kaws was still around, theyd find a way to chomper 'em...etc..

did people think these were gonna like a one time thing?? why all the hype and madness?? 80% of the people lined up probably havent bought a pair since..theyve released like 2179 different roadstas since then, and its like nobody cares anymore...people want regular "madstas" now all of a sudden...(theres still thousands of colorways to do)...ive been falling back from bape for like the last 6 mths...especially the sneakers...and the times i go to bape, and look upstairs...all i see is roadsta's in a weird color that nobody wants...and some lame ass sta's with a bunch of crappy logo designs on 'em..baby milo heads, camo, milo food, scrap camo...wtf??

are roadstas bapes main template now??..im proud to say i have never bought one single pair...didnt fall for the trap or hype when they were first releasing...and im glad...next thing u know you'll be seeing milo characters on the heel of roadsta's and french fries and hamburgers in the air bubbles... and who knows maybe even aloha roadsta's (who was the brilliant person to come up with that aloha nonsense anyway??)

anyway...why were people so eager to get their hands on 220 dollar (thats what they come out to right??) goofy looking sneakers with a large front-midsole...?? what was the hype for?? especially when the first colorways pretty much sucked..did people think these would be exclusive??

^^^ agreed to the max as far as comfort level of roasta; they are way more manageable around the city side walks... personally i prefer the looks of bapesta though.... hhmmmm i guess we cant get them all in one, even though we pay nearly 200 a pair.... how ironic:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

somethings gonna happen eventually...roadstas have been done to death already...and i guess they really dont do any more normal bapes, unless its a collab or has some random milo character eating cherries on the heel....so theres gonna be a new template for the sneakers eventually....
