i just took a look at my batmans and i noticed the damn paint on the APE is peeling.

The ape was peeling on my D8's when I opened the box to them. Theres a pair of batmans at Flight Club in LA right now with the same shit happening to them. Some are just painted real sloppily. The paint on the side walls of my London Roadies looks like they will crack like these pictured as soon as I wear them and I havent even worn them yet. Bape quality is just pretty shitty actually. Nothing you can do. AM90's crack like that too.

Slap yourself dude. Lol. When youre paying for shoes at that high of a cost, you NEED to take care of them. Easy solution: Get Mr. Clean Magic Eraser...cleans EVERYTHING...seriously. An old issue of Complex had this on there.

I wouldn't suggest peeling it off, even if painting it on gives it a sloppy look it's better. Gives the shoes a fake look.

I don't think the quality is shit at all. I think some people just beat up their stas to death. I stuff the shoe after i wear them to minimize creasing. To keep the nice shine and gloss I occasionally clean them with sneaker cleaner. Simple as that.

I would say the quality is shit though when you have paint peeling off right out the box, patent 1's do not crease as easily or as bad, and has anyone ever noticed the silver marker along where some of the panels meet? It wipes right off, but fuck... They really should be taking care of that in warehouse if there gonna charge that much for them. Ive also had some where there is paper and or plastic hanging out between panels. Like they didnt take the time to cut it off properly.

Regardless I over look all this because I love the design and colorways and find them very comfortable. Of course I also wear them cause basically no one around me does.

Haha. I have a nack for ALWAYS going up on my toes while sitting, which completely fucks up the whole toe box with creases. And I always manage to do that the first hour of wearing them. But seriously though, creases don't look that bad at all if the shoe is clean and not dirty as hell IMO.

7 here. Not sad about that number at all. Lol. Skullstas stay pretty in tact judging from my two pairs. Skatestas seem to work well too, but my 2 of my 3 pairs of Bapestas are all creased up in the front. Theyre clean as hell so theyre still looking fresh though. :)

Edit: DUNKS dont have a creasing problem with me at all. Lol. Got like 10 pairs.

Bapesta Quality has never been great. Compare the quality to a £60 pair of patent AF1's and the Nike win hands down.

dont know why some of you guys are complaining about quality. in the end, bape is nothing special. you're just payin for the name/image/design. its not like they got quality inspection control anyways.

just get a yellow paint marker from the local hobby store and go over it... no biggie.
