Maintenance and Usage (Wearage?)

From what I've seen, many of you guys have shoeracks of shoes that look like they're never worn. Am I wrong? Do you guys have pairs of shoes to wear and pairs to keep as display, or do you wear 'em, wipe 'em down, put 'em back up, and repeat for each shoe? I'd hate to see these get all worn down and ugly. :b

i beat all the shoes i buy to shit. i like to wear them. i know a lot of other members wear their shoes really hard too, but at the same time, a lot of them have really huge collections so you may just be seeing the shoes they dont take out every day.

i wear my shoes all the time but i only got 4 pairs dough but when i have used them i just wipe of the snow and put them on my shoe rack and so far i have no creases :)

how do you have no creases in a patent leather shoe? i get creases 30 minutes after wearing them.

i just have like one patent leather shoe the others are ice creams so i dont wear the patent leather shoe that much

very true. but thats only on bape, nike patent doesnt crease as much.

i wear my, but only like once every 2 weeks. switch em out, wear them in rotation.

I have a rotation which is why most of my shoes are in good condition, but yea.. I wear all my shoes no matter what they are.

i have like 3 pair that i rock constantly, then the others i rock on weekends, and if they look a bit dirty, i clean em off

Werd, I'll usually just buy a pair that i really really like, then rock the shit out of them, but at the same time I'll still keep collecting. I'll wear some of my collection shoes like a few times for fun. You have to rock your shoes, no way would i keep shit DS, wtf is the point of having them then.

I constantly wear about 5 pairs, they're all pretty used. 1 is vnds while the rest are nds and one pair is fucked up like holy shit, I run track in them. As well as I run track in my unkle sb's, I wrestle in em too. I keep a few DS but sooner or later all kicks get rocked, =)

i have 3 pairs of bapestas/roadstas, a pair of ice creams, a pair of nike court forces and two other boring shoes for random trips to the store in the rain etc. so far i have very little creasing on my bapestas, you cant really see them unless you REALLY study the shoe hard. but yes, rotation definately, dont wear the same pair over and over, give em a few days between each wear, and consider the fact that you are wearing expensive sneakers when you walk:)

i rotate my joints too. i wear no pair more than twice in a row then i switch out. i also wipe the dirt off before i box 'em back up (or at least i try to, doesn't happen all the time.) if they look real beat when i pull 'em out to wear them, i just get an old toothbrush and some dove soap with warm water and scrub the sole and damp wipe 'em off and wahla! i'm a lil' old school with the sneaks. to me the old way keeps 'em chilly...

i'm only 16 with no access to a bws (pondon is cheapest i can get) so i only have 2 bape items... a new brown 3rd gen tiger and a tee. (had some pink camo stas and some grey stas i loved to death but some bitches stole 'em:mad:) i can't really afford too much i have to save a month's worth of money for one pair of stas but i love the brand greatly. anyways back on subject....some shoes i prefer beat...ones that are browns and greens and greys, but ones like my pink camos only looked good crispy. therefore i only wore those occasionally but i really didn't care if they got creases...gives them an identity.

I have a few pairs on ice, but I have every intention of rocking ever pair sooner or later. It snows for six months out of the year here and I just wear beaters all winter, so I don't have a lot of time to rock new shoes. Right now I have like 5-ish pairs out of 60 iced. This spring I'll wear them all. As I write this I haven't worn my De La Highs, De La Lows, Superman Stas, Pusheads and my Vamps. I can't wait to wear my De Las.
