Whats the difference with the full camo hoodies (generation 1-4)?

Does anyone know wats the difference with all the generations of full camo hoodies ? .. 1st being no BAPE 2nd with BAPE 3rd BAPE + crystals...4th BAPE+ color crystals... other than those obvious difference...wat esle is diffferent?...(ex. color? .material thicker/thinner? )... just wondering... interested to know about the purple camo... cause 4th looks different than 3rd... color wise ... anyone know? thanks so much

If you were buying bape last season or before last season on ebay, you might have seen my auctions. All my items are real. I'm actually a retired reseller.

I'd say 1st gen has a more severe washed appearance and camos appear to be darker. Other than that and some tag differences between 4 generations I think everything else are the same.

OG Multi does not have the standard apehead camoflauge. Check it out under closer inspection; it uses ABC Camo bapeheads (the same found on the Neons)

In short, at least to me, there are 4 generations of new color camo hoodies. Of course there are only 3 colors for 1st gen so it gets really complicated if you want to count the 1st purple camo hoody as first gen purple camo hoody. In that logic, you could say the 4th gen purple camo hoody is actually the 3rd gen since it's the 3rd full purple camo hoody out. At this point, I don't even really know what I'm talking about so I guess it doesn't really matter what we call any of them.

Plain Camo
Camo with Bape Lettering
Crystal Camo with Bape Lettering
Crystal Camo with same colour crystals and Bape lettering

I think the different gens really refers to the new colour each year because it started off just Green and Yellow then they added a colour each year.

they're all from stay246 except the 1st gen. so the chronology is 2001 1st gen, 2003 1.5, the rest 2005 on?

Have full camos without crystals come out this year? I figured they would be releasing sometime after the Crazy Camos with the letters tinted like the 3rd gen CC'S but wasn't sure if they already put out some other form of full camos with out crystals?

Locust you sort of coined the term "generation camo" in your own right, but then what do you coin/phrase the concept of the repetition of a full camo zip up hoody repeating in the (red, blue, green, I dont have to keep going) colors. And what do you coin the colors themselves as?

The question might be confusing so I will furthur explain

full camo full zips (OG, BAPE, BAPE SWV, BAPE color SWV) [I don't include sleeveless since to me it can be compared to crazy camo]

I have no idea what you're talkin about man. I just found out today that Pharrell's inspiration for the Pharrell Roadstas Red/Blue was Optimus Prime.

To semi answer your question; Color camo? He obviously used the color coding schematic of RGB for his first generation, but just started adding other colors to further extend his line.
