I think so too. Way too many hoodies are being produced nowadays and anyone can cop. Some shirts designs are either hit or miss. Kicks........I have nothing to say. Im not a big fan of the Roadstas, it hasnt really wowed me yet. That is why I am on a mission to find heat from the 1st season Kaws collabo and other various heat and OG Bapes.

where can we see what these OG pieces look like? i don't have the older catalogs, and i hear a lot of folks reference OG stuff. i would really like to see what the OG stuff was like. i look at stay246.com but i can't tell what was OG. i do see the new stuff though. if someone got pics, post them. or maybe we can start an OG only pics thread. . .

The OG stuff is obviously the collectors choice, but every season afterward, has it certain pieces that stand out. You're not always gonna love every article of clothing a brand releases. Theres old Kaws collab stuff thats wierd looking. Theres some real heat in all the new stuff , but obviously strange new ideas (Tiger) n (Insane hoody). I think its kinda cool how they try to break barriers but still hold that Bape vibe we all love. Somethings mesh and blend perfectly, while others things scream "look at me, i'm different!"....well thats enuff babble. Just how i feel....I love rockin Bape....its a lifestyle....

I spotted countless bapeheads tonight, 1 hour before closing time, all over the streets. Bape is definitely not dead, especially here.

I'm seeing more and more "drAPEd" people, and it looks great.

i back you on this one cuzzo. a brand will always have some stuff where you will be like "what?!" and then some pieces you will be like "ok, i like that." EVERY brand goes through it. . . stussy, bape, orchard street (just a few brands that i check out). like dron61 said, you gotta break barriers and be new, and of course, some people will respect that. others will frown upon it.

A brand is not representitive of my personality- just because i don't like something doesn't mean that a designer who's been making fire for 13 years is "losing heat" it means "i have some different tastes than he does". Show some fucking respect for a company that truly has transcended cultures and fashion stereotypes and stop pathetically attempting to be such fashion elitists. And if you dislike the "heat-losing" company than put all your shit up on the marketplace for a ridiculously low price and no one will complain.
