Tell me , whats the difference between Nigo-kun and Nigo-san which I thought would have been the accepted norm ?

if I'm correct.. -kun is for someone that you call your friend..

-san is.. don't know I'll let Mitch answer that one haha I'm still learnin japanese whehe

-san is the most formal and would be used in most professional scenarios. -kun is used between (male) peers or when speaking to an inferior.

bonus: -chan is a diminuitive particle (sorta like the difference between Ken -> Kenny)
