What was actually the first Bapesta released?

i must admit homie, being a fan particularly of the bapesta, that would be an interesting fact to know. wonder if there are any places that have bape facts and such. like number of different bapesta colorways to date, number of items sold, etc. . .

maybe one of the mods or other knowledgeable BT2 members can share this info and not flame for being a noobie question. . .:D

that is a very good question im sure alot of people would like to know. i remeber in like 2001-'02 i went to a sneaker boutique in brooklyn called premium goods , they were like a retailer for a lot of exclusive sneakers. The manager was showing me alot of bapes and they were basic colors like white ,m black, red and yellow , regular leather.... he was also showing other materials used by bapes other then patent leather and regular leather . but since bape came out in the early 90's im sure there were other kinds !!!

premium goods moved to a few blocks from my house, but i remember seeing same very simple color combos way back. mostly like white and another color. i remember seeing a green and black bapesta, an all brown leather bapesta and red/black bapesta

The oldest Bape shoe I have ever seen was a white one that reminded me a lot of the Stan Smith Adidas. I don't remember much about it though, so I guess I'm no help. But yeah, it was a plain white sneaker.
