Think 33 is about a medium, I am a 30 and wear small. The jeans arent that great though much better brands out there.

mannn I think people who plop down bape prices for their jeans are absolutely crazy. you could get such a nicer (japanese-made) pair for roughly the same amount of money

if i were you i would get some true relegions or some puma x evisu.

ye bape jeans aint that nice... i would definitely buy some evisu or true religions btw i always wanted to know why does true religion cost so much i dont find any of their jeans nice except one of em and everyone prolly has that one pair of jeans from true religion

where can i find some nice evisus... already got a pair of puma evisus

noooo do not listen to this man. again, if you are going to plop down that kind of money get QUALITY instead of a name. I'm guilty of owning the puma x evisus simply because I was caught up in the hype and also because I liked the cut (but mostly the hype). I regret that, even though I still like them, because I could definitely have gotten some nice selvedge jeans for $170

also TR's are trendy and the embroidery on the back pockets are mad ugly

I think Selvedge carries more hype then the pumaxevisu's do. Why everyone care so much about extra stiches on the inside of your jeans? So there a bit stronger and it looks kinda cool when you cuff them? Big deal. Even if the Puma evisus aren't that high in quality, (the cuff stitches on one of my pairs is brutal) you're hard pressed to beat the cut right now on these. They fit great and look amazing with all shoes, they don't fuckin spill over and drown your shoes like most designer jeans these days. Might come with some hype but they look great.

As for bape jeans I havent seen many that look good. The ones with the camo stiching on the back pockets look great but the rest are kinda weak in my opinion. Have logos all over the front of your pants is a little over the top. Chances are we are wearing enough crazy looking shit, in the least keep the pants some what calm.

Heres a question Ive never seen asked, how wide are the legs at the very bottom of each of the bape sized jeans?
Obviously im guessing they'd get wider as the sizes go up but I hate wearing turnups that sit on top of my shoes & would rather they flopped down so was gonna maybe buy an L or XL pair so theyre baggier in the leg....I think this looks much better when they are raw & have turnups anyway

So can ppl post what width the legs are down at the hem of their jeans....would be cool if we could get the measurements for all the sizes

Also does bape denim fit the same as BBC jeans? Was thinking of gettin a pair of those either

nahhh if you're in the market for some premium japanese denim, it's not just for the selvedge seam. and I agree, the quality of the puma evisus is appalling considering their cost. anyway, I am firmly opposed to buying TR, sevens, citizens, etc, any of those trendy mall brands. why? because every rich kid that got tired of wearing A+F and american eagle jeans found an alternative with an expensive name.

Ya thats one of the main reasons I stopped buying Diesel. And they just started getting way too gay looking.

yeah, all of the brands like the true relegion, evisu, and seven jeans are being hyped right now, but that still doesnt take away from they quality of the denim. and as for the back pocket ebroidery of the true relegions, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

save up your money and get a nice pair of Diesel or Hugo Boss jeans.

better quality, and they look better.

agreed on whoever mentioned that the puma x evisus aren't the best quality but the look and fit is great. they came out with at least 2 additional cuts recently. i don't find tr quality good either, other than tr's raw denim, the fabric and thread is cheap imo. my current favs are nudies (both quality and look) and the puma evisus. i still do like the fit and look of bootcut sevens even though they're a bit played out these days. bape jeans? meh. i'll pass.

If you ever gonna buy bape jeans, dont' buy the raw, washed is much better in both quality and look

Raw denim usually is larger than washed in the same size...

depends on washed or unwashed. unwashed come a bit larger to compensate for the first washing. after shrinking mine in the the dryer for 20mins (evisu guidelines for their denim) they were exaclty the same. although i guess you don't have to dry them.

in comparison to other jeans, i have M in the last generation front sta denim (washed/unwashed) and its a bit wider than my 32's form gap and banana, and a bit wider than my 35's from evisu shrunken down to 33's. and they run hella long. if anyone knows of a good tailor to trust with jeans in los angeles, please let me know. as i'm about to take them to evisu tokyo on my next trip and see if they'll do a side job.

and realize that the jeans run in different styles for the different generations. i tried on the front sta carpenter jeans in M and they just fell off.

I don't get all the hate Bape jeans are getting here. Imo, the jeans look great with the print on the front: I friggin' adore Milo Jeans with the sad face on 'em, as well as the Sta jeans. It's just hot.
