Pharrell Roadsta "scuff'n'scratch" Report

By now we all know that the following disclaimer was in the box with the Pharrell Roadstas at the NY release. For those of you that have been away from the site for a few days, it wasn't anything special just a note that looked like this:

The purpose of this thread is for folks who've worn the Pharrells already to post reports and hopefully detailed pictures etc of how they hold up under normal wearing conditions.

Hopefully some of the Japan heads who've had'em in their closets for a few weeks longer than us will be able to report on any problems with the metallic finish that arises from wearing the Pharrell Roadstas.

ive rocked mine (purple) twice and they look like regular roadsta creases. My man that works here is keeping his pair DS for collection but I think they look to fresh not to rock...

well the metallic finsish is probably juss a coating of glitter paint, so creases will rub the paint off and leave empty marks on the shoe...yuck,...

The metallic finish is one thing that kinda scared me away from these. Aside from me spending way too much money in the past month on other pick ups, and gifts. As easily as regular patent Bapes scuff I'm interested to see the effect on the metallic finish. Let's see some pics people...

I was gonna get these but copped some abc roadies instead and im happy with them. Wear those pharrells more than 3 times and your shit will be scratched to oblvion.

You didnt start anything , Anjin.....Homie has stated that he's worn em for the last 3 days, (longer than i think any BT2 member) , but he's been on the computer allday long. The thread's objective is to figure out if they crease more or scuff easily. He says Not True (capitals!) but if he's not really rockin em out and about , then his crease theory is kinda tainted. I really wanna know if these things crease and flake very easily like the disclaimer says.... this will determine if i should cop or not......

i have 2 pairs, once you see the finish you will realize that scratches are going to be a given. Now whether the scratches will ruin the shoe is another matter. People need to provide pics else what good is this thread?

It seems like that metallic is brushed on (which i admit looks good up close) but what i was disappointed about was they seemed to miss some of the area by the rubber front. I've worn mine about 5 times and I walked in them all over South Beach and other random spots. I got 2 faint creases and no scratches at all, trust me they are worth copping EJ (Cinderblock) peeped me wearing them last night and he can vouch that they hold up well (I am flat footed as well) I will post pics later!
