We will be taking pre-orders for a limited BAPEŽ Haiti Tee in collaboration with Gene Krell, International Fashion Director of GQ Japan/Vogue Japan.

The t-shirt features an image of Haiti and a sun on the front, while paying tribute to the country on the back, with the words "The sun will shine again on the people of Haiti. One Love". A portion of total sales of this t-shirt will be donated to Save The Children.

This item is available via in-store and web PRE-SALE only. The t-shirt will retail for $73 and actual delivery of t-shirt will be in May or June.

In-store pre-sale for the t-shirts will begin on March 16th and close on March 30th at both BAPE STOREŽ NEW YORK and BAPE STOREŽ LOS ANGELES. Pre-payment in the store is required to secure receipt of t-shirt in May.

Web shop pre-sale dates will begin on March 26th at 7 PM (EST) and will close on March 29th at 12 PM noon (EST).

**Please be aware that all t-shirts will be delivered or available in MAY 2010 prior to placing any orders. There will be no t-shirts available when the t-shirts arrive in May - only those with receipts of pre-payment will be able to receive t-shirts. In-store or web pre-sale is the ONLY way to purchase these t-shirts.

nice tee but sending all the proceeds to Haiti would have made a better gesture (shout outs to Play Cloths and The Brooklyn Circus for doing so with their Haiti relief tees)

i think that in japan it said that all the proceeds went to haiti, but even if they give 50 percent its 30 or so which is the cost of a play clothes tee. and also its selling in 3 continents so a MASSIVE audience

Play Cloths had a better tee.

I just think its in bad taste to only donate just so you can show off that you donated.

I wonder if these companies are using these donations as a tax write-off.

i think its more to say "yeah we donated to the relief fund" than for the tax break... honestly with few thousand dollar donation won't even give back enough for nigo to buy a decent meal.:p

this tee is a joke... nigo needs to hire me as a freelance GD
this design is just crap:mad::mad::mad:

^^^it says haiti with all cap and huge san-serif font with a huge sun and the island drawing with a little ape logo on the bottom...
the concept is not my issue but the execution of the layout and design is my concern.

if it was up to me i'd rather have the back print to be the front side and just have haiti on the back with a better and smaller typography.
keep it simple, very minimal yet sends the message across.

QFT!

I really didn't like the design at all and like Sarom, it kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Rather donate straight up then get this.

i would rather donate money then buy the shirt as for the design i would of done something that would attract regular buyers to buy like a baby milo tee with him wearing construction clothes or something with the words " helping build haiti"

thats offensive. this is just a relief shirt. and who cares if you get a shirt from donating, i think its a dope idea and they will raise a mess of money.

hahahaha i just had to laugh at that and this:D

if you want we can have the whole milo crew helping to re-build haiti. and i'd rather have this quoted on the shirt,
"a monkey and his friends are helping to re-building haiti together, what the hell are you doing to help?":kissmyass:
