I quite like the Acme Disintegrating Ray gun one, but I should limit my t-shirts, especially white ones.

Taps is a great label.

they need a lottery for that ray gun tee and only that tee. the ursus tee looks way to simple and ba does too.

I wouldnt be suprised if the Ursus doesnt have something on the back, that was the same thing they did for the last W Taps x Bape collab tee. Taps is a more simplistic label though more of an adult brand.

Yes kind of. Its done by Tet who is connected with NBHD and Fragment.

There's nothing on the back of those tees, except a small "Ursus General's Choice" near the neck.

Oh god...........did they really put out a shirt using the Bauhaus font? (the one with BA on the front). Can nigo really get away with just typing out "bape" in popular fonts and then selling them for $100? I mean come on now...what's next? Comic Sans?

I don’t believe I didn’t notice that after I just did a stupidly long report on Bauhaus, but I think the Bauhaus thing could work if you look further in to it. Didn’t Nigo say sometime ago he wanted bape to be more than just a clothing line and more like a lifestyle, and in some ways Bauhaus relates to that. But like you said if he puts out shirts with bape across the front in different fonts like Comic Sans that would suck :mad:

Random fact for you from one of my client training sessions. Did you know that the Times was actually designed by the people who own the Times Newspaper. Its the only font that was made and is owned by a Newspaper.

Yeah i mean I don't think it's enough as a designer to just take a font and type something out and then sell it. I notice most of the new shirts just use straight up fonts like the "money" shirts and I'm pretty sure all the ribbons and stuff on the shirts are just clipart. Ah well....i do dig the vector apes!

Actually yes I did . My designer mate and i were chatting about typography only 2 weeks ago.
I told him an old lecturer designed a full font for a legal firm and sold it for six figuers. Then we got onto The Times. That said, the little bits at the end of Times New Roman Fonts are called Serrifs and they date back to stone masons .
