Nigo and his partner Sukeshin did create it. He is a Dj, producer, and of course BAPE creator. Pharrell nor lil wayne created. Pharrell created BBC and Ice Cream. Pharrell is good friends with Nigo and use each others ideas in there marketing strategies.

It was an irony. Those young people in Japan were spoiled and living easy life in luke water. I have not made sure about actual fact with him yet thought. So, it is just one possibility of origin of BAPE.
