It's simple math. One hoodie probably costs $10.00 tops to make(Consider the massive wholesale rates he must get on supplies) and he turns around and flips that same hoodie for $200. I know retail is more than that, but I am just using $200 for the sake of example. That's $180.00 profit for every hoodie. Lets say if one run of hoodies is 1,000 units. That's $180,000 made off of one release. And how many different releases are there in a year? And that's also using the highest amount I could imagine it costing to make a hoodie and the lowest amount they would flip it for.

A lot of my numbers are way off, I am sure. But the point stays the same.

As for the person who asked why fapers don't have equal quality items, fapers are not making nearly as many of these items as Bape is, keep in mind that it's not one company making all the fake shit, but rather many VERY small operations make them, so they have to buy material at retail more often than not, so they save money by using lower quality materials.
