Folks,

In Bape NYC, how long is the line usually for something that is kinda popular? (but not shark level popular). I mean, how many hours ahead of time should one stand in line and wait if they really want something? Thanks.

The line is usually wrapped around the corner from the store, about 50 to 75 folks maybe. . . (right past the flower guy's green booth - don't lean on it either!) I usually get to the store at least 45 min ahead of opening, but driving from the DC area is a lil' bit. The thing about BWS NY, as quoted by one of the workers, is that sometimes, a lot of people in line are only there to look around or to get into the store to just see what it is like. But, I still say get there just to MAKE SURE you get what you want. Because with BAPE you never know. I like to make sure I get what I want so that I am happy on the road back to the crib!

For this hoodie I'm trying to cop, I plan on being there at least 2 hours ahead of time - think that's enough?

They open at noon. Man you guys might not believe this but I've never EVER waited in line for more than 10 minutes in order to get something. I guess there's a first time for everything huh?

Is it also safe to assume that if you're one of the first 5 people in line you're guaranteed to get something that you want? (Since there is no raffle going on)

2 hours isn't enough, even the street buds don't get it sometimes.

I hope its not a raffle. If so then flippers will be all over it.

longest i waited was 30 minutes on two occasions, the adicolor keith harings and the kidrobot "robothead" hoody. ive waited longer for other types of things though, but thats getting off topic. Your best bet would be to get up early and go to the store ASAP on the day of a hotly anticipated item.

thats because you only camped for two hours, might as well not even go... if youre serious enough to camp for something, make it count

the longest i camped was 12 hours for my 60 gig ps3, which is for sale.. hit me up
