I think the design is by Splay who is in the US so you need to factor in the US time difference. Thats not counting any technical problems they may have getting the site live.

Can't say I'm happy about the result, what they did is kind of nasty as they put a little black sticker over the US/UK part on the shoebox. So basically since Apesta's fit a size bigger they compensated it so that the size mentioned on the box is the true size. They send me a US10 which fits as a UK9 but since they fit a size bigger they now count as a UK10, hence the blacking out of the US/UK part. However, since they don't mention this anywhere on the site (for example, if they would just add the size in centimeters this problem could've been avoided) it is quite annoying.

I replied that I find this quite unfair and asked that they refund me the return shipping costs, haven't gotten a reply to that as of yet though. If I don't get a reply tomorrow I might call them but I'm afraid that the costs for a call to the UK will be on par with the costs of shipping them back.

good luck getting a refund. They don't refund and technically it's your word against their. By uk law shops don't have to refund and most who don't offer it don't refund.

By Law anything you buy online has a 14 day cooling off period if you decide you wish to cancel your order you are entitle to do so within this time period. There was an article about it in the Stylist this week, lol.

03-19-2010, 05:17 PM
Forgot about that. I would doubt they will honour that though as they have always been anti refund. Isn't much that you can do if they don't.

Asami
03-19-2010, 05:40 PM
No I get a refund(withing 7 working days, it's stated on the website) or exchange anyway, it's the shipping costs back to them which I have to pay now due to their mistake which I find unjustified. Anyway I like the Ursus Apesta's so I'll just take the hit and get the bigger size ones.

JesusSandals
03-19-2010, 05:45 PM
Just call them man and tell them to pay shipping which they should.

Asami
03-20-2010, 01:16 PM
Well, I've received a reply from them and we've seem to have to come to a compromise. I am going to send them back at my expense, but they will pay for the costs of shipping a bigger size pair back to me.

The reason they won't take responsibility is that they were advised/ordered by Bape to adjust the sizes on the boxes and therefore don't consider this a mistake on their behalf. I have replied that I strongly advise them to put some info on the website to avoid these sorts of issues in the future, be it by also listing them in centimeters or by just noting the adjustment they performed to the sizing.
